Heritage, Buildings, Conservation and Museums
Heritage, Buildings, Conservation and Museums are essential for sustainably managing change.
We’re leading heritage research across the broadest range of buildings, landscapes, conservation and museums.
We champion and lead approaches and research in socially engaged sustainable heritage practices and how they are relevant in the 21st century through our Heritage for Global Challenges Research Centre and Centre for Conservation Studies.
We focus on how heritage can be resilient and serve the needs of people today and in the future. We research and use a range of digital and analytical approaches through the Centre for Digital Heritage, Centre for the Study of Christianity and Culture and Centre for Artefacts and Materials Analysis.
We work in the UK and internationally including through the Africa Research Network and with partners in Europe, India, Australia, Thailand, South East Asia, North America and the rest of the world.
