Departmental Honorary and Visiting Research Associates
The Department also awards Visiting and Honorary Research Associate status to distinguished collaborators working with a named academic staff member and resulting in a material benefit to the core research activity of the Department. Honorary Research Associate status is granted by our Nominations Committee on the basis of a written justification, which will set out a clear explanation of the joint activity. Honorary Research Associate status is usually awarded for two years.
The title of Honorary Research Associate carries no privileges other than access to the University's IT services and Library, where requested and justified in the application.
