This video series will help you discover more about the methods, ideas and applications of Chemical Archaeology as described by our very own ChemArch researchers!

In this video series we introduce you to the researchers of the ChemArch ITN, or Chemical Archaeology Innovative Training Network, and explore their cutting-edge research focused on exploring the ancient world through the lens of chemistry and biology.

This innovative network brings together scientists and archaeologists from around Europe to uncover the secrets of past civilizations by analysing the chemical compositions of artefacts, residues, and ancient bones.

By studying these chemical clues and exploring the methods used, the ChemArch ITN researchers aim to provide you with new insights into how ancient people lived, what they ate, the technologies they used and the environments they inhabited.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 956351
