British Academy Researchers at Risk Fellowship Programme
An invitation for expressions of interest
The British Academy (with the support of other UK National Academies and the Council for At-Risk Academics) has launched a Researchers at Risk Fellowships Programme. The scheme enables UK universities to host two-year fellowships to researchers at risk with funding of circa £37,000 per annum. The first priority of the Programme will be as a response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has exposed Ukrainian-based researchers to direct threat.
The Department of Archaeology at York would like to invite researchers at risk to contact us with a view to developing a joint proposal. Interested potential applicants should review the Department's research strengths and contact relevant academic colleagues to discuss opportunities.
For full details of the scheme and eligibility criteria, please visit the British Academy: Researchers at Risk webpage.
