Archaeology's Professor Geoff Bailey speaks at Washington DC meeting.

Americans working on submerged landscapes and underwater archaeology convened a two day meeting of presentations and discussions at the Smithsonian Museum.

Professor Geoff Bailey was invited to speak about SPLASHCOS and his experiences in Europe and other parts of the world.

The meeting included archaeologists, a Native Indian tribal preservation officer and Federal policy makers from NSF and the Bureau of Ocean Engineering Management.
