York Archaeology Department at SAA2019

Faculty and students from the Department will be attending the Society for American Archaeology conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 10th - 14th April 2019.

The Department will have a stand in the Exhibit Hall at Albuquerque Convention Center (Exhibit Hall 4) throughout the conference (open from 10am to 5pm on 11th, 12th and 13th April). If any current applicants or prospective students are attending the conference, do visit us in the Exhibit Hall – in booth 504 – to talk to one of our Faculty.

The Department will be represented by Dr Tom Fitton, Dr Stephanie Wynne-Jones, Prof. Dawn Hadley, Dr Aurélie Manin and Prof. Julian Richards. If you would like to make an appointment to meet with a specific member of Faculty then please contact our PG Administrator Helen Chan: Helen.Chan@York.ac.uk 

We are also available to meet with potential post-doc fellowship applicants, and to discuss funding opportunities with you. We would also love to take the opportunity to meet with our Alumni so if that’s you then please do call by to see us! Finally, we would be delighted to meet with fellow Faculty from other Universities to provide an overview of our programmes to assist you in advising your students.
