Head of Department launches new book series
Professor John Schofield's Archaeologies of the Contemporary Past will be released later this year
Our Head of Department, Professor John Schofield, has launched a new book series with publisher Taylor and Francis, on Archaeologies of the Contemporary Past—https://www.routledge.com/Routledge-Archaeologies-of-the-Contemporary-World/book-series/RACW. This exciting new series encourages applications from potential authors of monographs, including shorter format volumes, as well as edited collections. The series aims to further establish the contemporary past within archaeological and heritage research, and encourage the dissemination of creative approaches to the here and now. John's co-authored study of the Cold War intelligence-gathering site of the Teufelsberg in Berlin (pictured) will be the first title, appearing later this year.
