Event details

The South American Archaeology External Seminar Series (SAAESS) is a brand-new space to foster South American Archaeology at the University of York and beyond.

We will bring speakers working across the continent to share their experiences and research on hot topics and the latest discussions. Come and explore different contexts and a wide range of themes that combine archaeological sciences and social theory.

In this seminar, Professor Adolfo Gil and Dr Gustavo Neme (CONICET-Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Argentina) will give a talk titled: “Unstable Frontiers: Advance and Retreat in the Subtropical Farming Dispersion.”

This event has been organised by Alejandro Serna (alejandro.serna@york.ac.uk) and Paola Ponce (paola.ponce@york.ac.uk)
