Thinking about a Masters in Archaeology? Join staff and students from Department of Archaeology at the University of York's Historic King's Manor between 2 pm and 3.30 pm on Wednesday 21 June for our PG Archaeology Taster Afternoon

The department offers a variety of courses delivered by scholars with a breadth of expertise, giving students the opportunity to develop vocational skills in Archaeology and heritage, and further their understanding of a range of techniques and historical periods. The Taster Afternoon gives you the opportunity to get to know York Archaeology and decide if it's right for you.

Dr Lara González Carretero of the Department of Archaeology has been named as a recipient of a 2023 Trail-Crisp award from the Linnean Society of London for groundbreaking research in archaeobotany.
