About this Event

University of York Global Alumni Association is delighted to invite you to the The York Alumni Global Get Together!

Join fellow Yorkies and former classmates from around the world for our first ever online York Alumni Global Get Together on Thursday 16 July at 1pm BST.
 
There will be a special welcome from your University's Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Charlie Jeffery, followed by a York-themed scavenger hunt and quiz. Don't worry about arranging a team, we will do that for you. There may even be a fluffy duck for the winners!
 
Why not get in the spirit of the occasion and dress up in your College colours or display one of the free digital backdrops you'll receive before the event? These will feature campus and city favourites like Central Hall, V-Bar, Willow, Fibbers, Harry's Bar, the Room, the Roxy, Ikon, York Minster and Castle Hill. (Both are optional.)

Emergency Student Support Fund

This event is free to attend but any donations to support the Emergency Student Support Fund will be hugely welcome. The fund provides financial support of up to £500 (per applicant) for students facing unanticipated financial challenges due to the pandemic.
