Reward staff for outstanding long-term performance
Rewarding Excellence awards are given to staff members in grades 1 - 8 who have evidenced a high level of performance over a sustained period of time. Successful nominees will receive an additional salary point within their grade. See the Rewarding Excellence policy and guidance for further details.
Nominations are invited from Heads of Departments, line managers and individuals themselves. Please note that all nominations will need to be authorised as factually correct by the Head of Department. Please use the Rewarding Excellence nomination form to make a nomination.
Dates of the 2024/25 process
- Nominations will be accepted from Monday 2 December 2024
- The deadline for the submission of nominations is 5pm on Friday 31 January 2025*
- The deadline for Head of Department authorisation is 5pm on Friday 7 February 2025
- Decision making processes will happen in February
- Outcomes will be communicated and increments implemented in March 2025
* Please ensure all nominations are submitted by the above date as there will be no late submissions accepted.
