From 1 October Operational HR support will be provided by the HR Advisers whilst the HR Partners, Suzy Shelton and Nik Williams, will be aligned to the People and Organisational Development (POD) Team.

In their new role, the HR Partners will lead institutional conversations and provide HR insight, support and provocation into workforce issues. Exploring challenges such as: attracting and developing talent in a global market, developing a holistic approach to employee wellbeing and ensuring connection whilst working in a hybrid way.

By realigning to the POD team, the HR Partners will have the time and space to explore these workforce challenges in a proactive and data-driven way and ensure the University is best placed to meet the changing nature of work.

In joining POD, the HRPs will bring their knowledge and experience of applying HR principles to organisational design. They'll start to work closely with the Development Partners who will be developing the behaviour and culture needed to enhance performance and realise the University Strategy.

In addition to their new focus, the HRPs will continue to offer support and guidance to the University Executive Board, Faculty Deans, Heads of Faculty Operations and Heads of Professional Services.
