The University is adopting a single leave management system, FlexiLeave, for the recording of staff leave and flexitime.

Around 2,700 staff are already using FlexiLeave, which has been designed by the Faculty IT team to meet the specific needs of University users.

From October 2022 it will replace any remaining leave management tools (such as MyView or Appogee) and any other local leave or flexitime systems.

This means that, except for staff who clock in with Kronos, every York employee will need a record in FlexiLeave. Staff will be expected to use FlexiLeave to manage their annual leave and to record any sickness absence from October onwards.

Departments should look out for a communication from the HR Systems team who will be arranging meetings in August to ensure colleagues have everything they need to use FlexiLeave.
