Following the success of the pilot phase, self-service recruitment has now moved into 'business as usual' and is available for all recruiters.
We have updated the recruitment guidance on the HR webpages to support you through the self-service process on eRecruiter. Please do look through this if you are starting a new recruitment.
We hope more of you will choose to use the self-service route over the coming month. As well as the efficiency gains and improved timescales, we really do think it is a better experience for recruiters.
In the last 30 days, 20% of recruitments have used the self-service process. If you're interested in seeing how this is going, take a look at our Tableau report (UoY employees only; VPN required).
In the autumn we expect to withdraw HR-serviced recruitment for standard vacancies. We strongly encourage recruiters to try out self-service recruitment during this transition period if they have a good opportunity to do so.
