Six departments have successfully trialled self service recruitment during our initial pilot. We are now seeking more departments to trial the self-service approach.

Self service recruitment gives managers greater control over appointment timescales and removes duplicate activity and waiting times.

Through self-service recruitment you can:

  • raise a vacancy directly in eRecruiter, rather than by completing a VRF
  • arrange interviews yourself in eRecruiter, rather than sending your interview arrangements to HR
  • Choose to shortlist using eRecruiter's internal tools (however this isn't required and you can shortlist as you normally would if that is preferred).

During the pilot stage, the HR Systems Team and HR Services teams will be providing additional support to make sure any problems are addressed immediately so that your vacancy progresses as you would expect. We are also working with pilot departments to update and refine our guidance.
