Rewards Extra is a package of benefits available to all University of York employees, it includes savings on things such as childcare, transport, health cover as well as salary linked savings and loans plus discounts with hundreds of retailers, including major supermarkets.

We want to enable colleagues to access benefits and discounts through Rewards Extra as easily as possible. The new platform is simple to use and also comes as an app, so it will be easier for you to select and manage your benefits and to access instant savings when you are out and about shopping. You can also add another member of your household to your account so they can take advantage of the great discounts as well!

New to Rewards Extra?

There are many benefits and discounts that you will be able to access all year round. However, certain Rewards Extra benefits have to be selected during the annual renewal window, which this year will be open from 9 September until 30 September. So the launch of the new platform will be a perfect time to explore all of the benefits available to you. Look out for an email at the start of September, which will tell you how to login and start saving!

Annual renewal for current benefit holders

If you already have benefits through Rewards Extra these will automatically move over into the new platform. The move to the new platform coincides with this year's annual renewal window. As usual, any existing benefits you hold will simply roll over at renewal, with any applicable changes to premiums applied from October. If you wish to change or cancel your existing benefits, or make any new benefit selections, simply login to the new platform from 9 September. We will send you an email closer to the time so that you can look over your current benefits and explore the new platform for more savings!
