For a long time, staff at risk of redundancy who wanted to receive email notifications of jobs that they might apply for on a redeployment basis have needed to contact hr-enquiries@york.ac.uk to ask to be added to a special list.
From this week, this is no longer necessary. At-risk staff can add themselves directly to this Google Group to immediately start receiving email alerts of jobs as soon as they are advertised, without waiting for HR staff to give them access.
To support this change, we have:
- updated our redeployment guidance to reflect this change as well as any relevant documents used in the redundancy consultation process.
- sent an email to all existing staff on the redeployment register to explain the change.
