Due to the extended winter break, the Compliance Team will not be available to undertake right to work checks between 18 December and 3 January.

We would like to encourage any staff joining the University on, or shortly after, 4 January 2022 to undertake a right to work check prior to 17 December. To facilitate this, the team are proactively contacting new starters, recruiting managers and those registered on Dashboard as super users.

Line managers with workers starting on 4 January must ensure a right to work check has been completed on their first day before allowing the employee to start work.

If you need to engage additional casual workers to join the University over the Christmas period, please remember that they will need to have a right to work check and be approved on Dashboard prior to undertaking any work. The last day for us to approve any workers is Friday 17 December.
