Programme aims and objectives

The overall aims of the programme are to enable participating leaders to:

  • Create a culture of empowerment that maximizes effectiveness
  • Articulate and deliver their vision with integrity and passion
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to fulfill the university vision of public good

Core principles

  • Programme kicks off with two consecutive off site days to build relationships and community
  • Essential pre-work will be mandatory
  • 360 tool is an essential component part
  • Blended delivery of digital and face to face (face to face duration - full days)
  • Face to face focussed on skill and community development
  • Mandatory face to face co-coaching sessions between each module
  • Additional reading and developmental material will be highlighted to cohort delegates if they wish to enhance their learning further
  • Some core skill development will be offered as optional standalone workshops, accessible to all managers as well as those part of the cohort approach. eg time management, performance management
  • A digital learning platform will provide some management fundamental content previously incorporated in historical programmes
