Additionally, staff at Grade 7 are expected to demonstrate substantial and successful activities in the following areas:
Teaching and the promotion of learning
- Set, mark and assess work and examinations contributing directly to university level qualification
Administrative and support responsibilities
- Provide independent and effective help and support to students
- Contribute to planning and course design across a range of modules and to the administration and management of teaching programmes
Involvement in scholarship and development
- Disseminate results of scholarly work
- Assist in securing funding for teaching and scholarship
For staff involved in professional education and training
- Achievement of relevant professional qualifications and registration
