Secure your free place and join Professor Robin Perutz for a unique exploration of Campus West. Bring your binoculars to catch a glimpse of the birds which visit our campus at this time of year and look out for places to spot other flora and fauna later in the year.
Robin will provide a map and key of where you can watch birds on campus. Robin has been looking out for campus birds and flowers since he arrived at the University of York over 30 years ago. His day job is Professor of Chemistry at the University. His research speciality is Chemistry with light, specifically utilisation of solar energy.

For your information:
- This walk will be over uneven ground and will be outside.
- It may be wet underfoot - please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
- We will NOT be on footpaths.
- Wellies or waterproof shoes are recommended.
- Bring binoculars if you have some (a few pairs will be available to borrow).
- Maximum number of participants 20.
- Children are welcome.
