The conference will feature innovative and exciting sustainability-related student presentations, workshops, installations and academic posters from ten universities across Yorkshire and Humber, including those from the University of York. The focus is on inspiring, sharing, and learning. Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of sustainability, the research presented addresses many different aspects of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Professor Jeff Grabill, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Student Education at the University of Leeds, and Jenny Wilson, Director of Campus Innovation: Masterplanning, Asset Management & Sustainability, will open the conference with a welcome address and student panel followed by over 60 student speakers throughout the day.
The conference will close with a "Careers in Sustainability; Meet the Employers event" (5-6pm) in Parkinson Court which will allow attendees to connect around careers in sustainability.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. There will also be limited organised coach travel from York, so please sign up for this when registering for your ticket.
