New Year, Same Planet Fair

Thanks to everyone who came and said hello at York Students' Union's New Year, Same Planet Fair

We kick started February with attendance at the Student’s Union ‘New Year, Same Planet Fair’ in James Hall. This sustainability-themed fair gave students the opportunity to speak to a wide range of student societies, local charities and other organisations about ways to get involved and hear about work currently being done to address environmental and sustainability concerns.  

Our very own sustainability team attended to promote some of the opportunities and activities on campus including the Energy Savings Campaign, College Sustainability Challenge, York Interdisciplinary Modules for 2025/26 and the Sustainability Clinic.  It was a day full of positive conversations and making great connections, with more than 150 students passing through and picking up a free Fruit and Root bag.
