What are we transforming?
We will invest in new ways to expand our network of philanthropic partners - to become even more global, representative of our values, and diverse. And we will think creatively about how we deliver lifelong value to our alumni community; rethinking how we unlock our alumni capital.
We want York to become recognised globally as a ‘university of opportunity’. By significantly expanding our donor-funded scholarship and access programmes, we will unleash talent, wherever we find it, to create the leaders of the future.
By building new relationships and lasting partnerships, we will advance research that seeks to answer humanity’s most urgent questions.
And we will make a commitment to support and empower our graduates at every life stage, delivered through York for Life - our virtual alumni campus for public good.
This initiative will move York into the top five performing universities for philanthropic giving in the UK.
