Fi Rose

Fi has a history of working in frontline mental health services from 2006-2013, in which time she completed an undergraduate (BA) degree in counselling in 2012 at York St John University. Fi decided on undertaking a Masters degree in Public Health at the University of York, which she completed in 2017.

This is when Fi discovered a passion for health research. She applied to join the Cochrane Mental Disorders Group’s first ‘Voice of Experience’ College and has become a Consumer Editor for the group. Fi started working in research as a Trial Support Officer in 2020. She would love to work in stress and chronic illness management research in the future and is an advocate of mindfulness as a way to build resilience, and has a passion for empowering people to prioritise wellbeing and self-care.
