Connor Briggs

I work in the Students' Union, and am responsible for the organisation's work on training and employability; I work closely with a variety of student groups and the University's Careers department to support student leadership, development and self-reflection.

Outside my role, I am heavily involved in the LGBT+ community in York. I am a trustee of York Pride, and have been the Press and Marketing Director for the charity since 2016. I care deeply about equality of opportunity, and look forward to working with the LGBT+ Action Group to develop its work on inclusivity and visibility of LGBT+ individuals at the University.
