Successful YuPlan event sees record breaking number of attendees

YuPlan, our Will Writing and Estate Planning Webinar was held on Jan 25 2024. This free event is organised by the Legacy Team in the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni, and features local York solicitors, Crombie Wilkinson.
Belinda Poulter, Director at Crombie Wilkinson, and Richard Watson who recently retired as Senior Director and Head of the Private Client Team at Crombie Wilkinson, kindly provide this popular service at no cost and deliver an overview of will writing and estate planning.
This year’s event was attended by alumni, current and retired staff and friends of the University and had a record breaking 300 people sign up. Of those, 180 people watched live and a further 120 chose to view the recording in their own time. The Q&A session after the talks was very popular with over 40 questions being put to our panel.
Following the session, there was further reason to celebrate with 47 post event surveys being completed, which included 25 individuals considering leaving a gift in their will to York!
