What this service is
This service provides prospect research and ‘curated alumni lists’ to academic departments, faculties, schools and professional services departments for information on volunteer recruitment, marketing profiles, event attendees, internship provision, event speakers and more.
For example:
- Providing a long list of alumni in one specific city or business, as shown on this document.
- Providing a short list of alumni at one employer or from a specific course who now work in a specific industry.
Who it’s for
Our service is for current University of York staff who are looking to engage with a segment of our Alumni population.

Please use our request form. Please provide us with as much information as possible to enable us to run the best searches.

Caveats and FAQS
- Timeframes on the request form are only indications. The team always aims to do research as quickly as possible, however, turnaround times are dependent on the workload of the team so we cannot guarantee that we will be able to work to these timeframes.
- Do not keep a local copy of the data which is shared with you
- Do not share this information with anyone who is not a current employee of the University of York
- Results provided are as accurate as the information we have available on our database, we cannot guarantee its accuracy. Some information may be out of date
- Do not contact people on the list unless you have consent to do so
- Only use the information for the purposes for which you requested it
