The International Pathway College (IPC) runs courses for international students who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level at the University of York, but do not meet the standard entry requirements. We also provide a pre-sessional academic preparation course for unconditional offer holders to help students settle into life at York.
Run in conjunction with Kaplan International Pathways, our courses aim to improve a student’s study, academic and English language skills, with the aim of progressing onto a degree course.

Our courses
We offer a range of courses to help you prepare for further study.
International pathway courses
International Foundation and Pre-Masters pathways are available to students who currently don't meet the entry requirements for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at York.
Pre-sessional English courses
Pre-sessional English courses are available to students who need to meet an English language condition, or who wish to develop their academic skills after meeting the language requirements at York. We offer pre-sessionals both online and on campus so that you can choose a study mode that works best for you.
