York Health Economics Consortium Ltd

YHEC provides national and international consultancy and research in health economics and outcomes research to the NHS, pharmaceutical and health care industries. It also carries out work for a range of national and international clients outside the health sector, including local authorities and the voluntary sector.

YHEC's healthcare consultancy capabilities are global, and their services combine rigorous research standards with efficient project delivery. As part of one of the largest and most active group of HEOR research departments in the world, YHEC is also able to work with experts from related academic departments.

PCMIS

PCMIS (Patient Case Management Information System) Health Technologies Ltd provide research-led, evidence-based and innovative case management solutions to a wide range of healthcare organisations and charities across the UK and Ireland, Australia and Hong Kong.

Biorenewables Development Centre Ltd

Biorenewables Development Centre Ltd is a subsidiary company of the University of York and is an open-access R&D centre working at the interface between academia and industry to develop, scale-up and help commercialise bio-based products and processes.

York Commercial Ltd

York Commercial Ltd (YCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the University of York. The company was reformed in 2012. YCL’s overall aim is to deliver a profitable service to reinvest in the University of York and provide essential services to customers.

Any money donated to the University is used to improve the facilities and services for all across campus.

There are a number of commercially focused sections which form YCL (also known as Commercial Services by the University).
