Supervisors from the CIDCATS Supervisory Pool will submit project outlines for you to consider for your Spring and Summer Term Rotation Projects. In making a selection, you will have opportunities to review the outlines and do background reading on the projects. Additionally, there will be two "Pitch Sessions" where staff will present their project(s) and field any questions in person. You are encouraged to contact any member of staff about their projects to get a better understanding to inform your choice.
You will nominate your choices of both the Spring Term (Rotation 1) and Summer Term (Rotation 2) projects at the same time. For advice on project selection, please contact your Mentor, Buddy or other members of the programme staff.

Your project choices will be considered by the PEC, and confirmed to you and staff. The consideration includes resolution of any clashes in choices and balance over the 2 projects.

Our Wellcome Trust funded Doctoral Training Programme on “Combating Infectious Disease: Computational Approaches in Translational Science” (CIDCATS) is in its fifth year and we have another excellent cohort of students on the programme.
We invite you to propose a rotation project for the students in the Spring and/or the Summer term.
Please note:
Allocation of both projects is made at the end of the Autumn term.
Please complete the proforma by 12 noon on Friday 30 October 2015 at the very latest, you can submit at any time up until the deadline.
In the interdisciplinary spirit of CIDCATS, we encourage projects with at least two supervisors from different, complementary research backgrounds. However, applications by single supervisors are also permitted to allow students the opportunity to develop particular skills and/or gain experience in specific disciplines.
