Through our links with top academic institutions and employers all over the world, we aim to provide every student at York with the opportunity to gain an international experience, either on campus or by travelling abroad. We also aim to support our thriving international student community numbering 22,000 people.
I am proud of York’s international outlook. We now have research and teaching collaborations in 51 countries and students from [150] countries, contributing to public good on a genuinely global scale. Internationalism is at the heart of our 10-year vision for the University. We will continue to develop purposeful international engagement which pushes the pursuit for public good beyond national boundaries.

Founded on a shared vision for innovative research and teaching collaboration, the York-Maastricht Partnership encompasses joint research collaborations and education programmes, knowledge exchange, student exchanges and sharing best practice among staff.
CITY College, University of York Europe Campus
Based in Greece, CITY College now offer degrees awarded by the University of York across South East and Eastern Europe.
Together we'll co-develop new programmes, establish joint research and supervision opportunities, and develop new staff exchanges and student work or study abroad placements.
